Want to gain energy, reduce stress, or lose weight? The South Sound YMCA offers a great place to increase health, have fun, and meet new friends. We provide a variety of programs for every body and every level of fitness. The YMCA is a membership organization that welcomes women and men, girls and boys of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, and varying financial circumstances. Our programs and branches embrace diversity, reflecting the needs and composition of the South Sound communities we serve. Financial assistance is available for YMCA membership and all YMCA programs.

South Sound YMCA Mission Statement

To provide youth and community an affordable and accessible resource for the positive growth and development of spirit, mind, and body through recreational, health, and leadership programs.

Full YMCA Membership

Full YMCA Membership allows access to all programs and full facility usage at any of the South Sound YMCA facilities, Briggs Community Branch or Olympia Downtown Branch. Membership rates include a one-time joining fee and membership dues.

• Unlimited usage of gym, pool, and other facilities!
• Playcare – Drop-in child care for ages 3 months – 8 years. Legal Guardian(s) must be a full member and remain on the premises. Registration forms and payment punch cards are available at the front desk.
  
  • Fees (1 1/2 hour Session)
    • Infant (ages 3 – 17 months) - $3.00
    • Child (ages 18 months to 8 years) - $2.75
    • Additional Siblings - $1.00 per child per session

Basic YMCA Membership

Basic Memberships are available, enabling participants to sign-up for YMCA programs such as swim lessons, youth sports, childcare, parent-child programs, etc. Basic members pay an annual membership fee plus the program member rate for the selected offering. This non-refundable annual fee allows access to a specific class or program. However, it does not include facility use privileges. If you choose to upgrade to a Full Membership within 60 days of purchase, your Basic Membership fee will be applied to the joining fee of the Full Membership.

Corporate Membership

The South Sound YMCA Corporate Membership Program is a partnership with businesses in our community to help create a healthy working environment. This program is available to any South Sound business that has two or more employees and holds a current business license.
