DESCRIPTION:Bird Whistle Workshop\nBriggs Community YMCA\nSeptember 20 | 6-7:30pm \n\nIn this workshop\, you will explore history\, technology\, music\, and art from indigenous cultures of Mexico with artist Samuel Becerra.\nYou will decorate your own clay flute and learn to play their instrument using techniques from Aztec and Mayan musical traditions.\nYou will add a traditional finish with acrylic paint and take home your finished piece.\n\nOpen to all ages. Attend as a family (children and guardian) or individual.
