Weight Room Guidelines

BEFORE YOU VISIT THE Y

COME PREPARED TO WORKOUT

We do not currently require reservations to use the Weight Room, but check-in will be required to manage area capacity. Please review all the information below prior to your visit.

FACILITY HOURS
Please be aware that facility hours have been modified and daily closures for cleaning purposes will take place. To check these hours before your visit refer to our website HERE.

NO LOCKER ROOMS
All members should come ready & dressed to workout. Locker rooms will not be available to change in or store personal items; please limit the number of personal belongings you bring with you into the facility.

SAFETY
Throughout your workout please follow our posted Weight Room rules & safety procedures and practice social distancing.

WATER FOUNTAINS
Water fountains will be limited to bottle filling stations only. Please bring a non-breakable water bottle prefilled.

Entering the Y

CHECKING-IN TO THE WEIGHT ROOM

To enter the facility to use the Weight Room, please look for the labeled double doors to the right of our main entrance. Upon entry please let the Y staff know you are here to use the Weight Room, so that as you scan your card/phone app they can check you into both the Y and the Weight Room area.

WEIGHT ROOM CAPACITY LIMIT – 20
If the total capacity of the Weight Room has been met, please be prepared to wait until another member has exited and Y staff prompts you to enter the Weight Room.

Y MEMBERS
Upon initial reopening, only active Facility Memberships will be permitted to check-in and use the Y. If you need to activate your membership or sign up for a Y membership, please refer to the main entrance, prior to checking into the Weight Room.

DURING YOUR WORKOUT

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND CARING OF OTHERS BY DOING THE FOLLOWING:

SHARING SPACE
During your time in the Weight Room, please be respectful of others and social distance. Keep a 6 feet distance between yourself and other members, as best as possible.

SANITIZE EQUIPMENT
Members must wipe down equipment before and after use with provided disinfectant wipes. Additionally, members may experience wait times to allow time for extra sanitization of equipment in the Weight Room.

LIMITED EQUIPMENT
For safety purposes, all porous equipment, which is not metal, vinyl, or rubber, will be removed from the Weight Room (i.e., TRX straps, weight belts, mats, battle rope, foam roller, etc.) for the time being.

PERSONAL ITEMS
Due to CDC guidelines, the locker rooms will not be available to store personal items. The Welcome Desk will not be providing locks or storing any member personal items.

EXITING THE Y

EXITING THE WEIGHT ROOM

Once your Weight Room workout is complete and your equipment has been wiped down, members will be asked to exit the facility. Please look for the designated EXIT HERE signs when leaving the facility.
