CHILDCARE AS LOW AS $0/MONTH
Great staff, fun activities, at an affordable price. As a licensed childcare program, a family of 4 that makes less than $70k/year in annual income may qualify for low-cost child care.
Thanks to recent changes, the state of Washington expanded the number of families who qualify for the DCYF childcare subsidy program. More families than ever can qualify for up to 100% of their childcare costs to be covered.
The Department of Children, Youth and Families makes final determinations on qualifications and co-pays. Click the button below to see if you qualify. Note that co-pays listed on the chart represent total family contributions per month.

ACCESSIBLE CHILDCARE FOR ALL
Our goal is to make high-quality, state licensed childcare accessible to anyone. All of our school-based locations are state-licensed. We are proud to accept state childcare benefits through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). Additionally, thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses around our community, the Y offers financial assistance to ensure all kids and families have access to our programs. Please email childcare@ssymca.net to learn more.

The Y focuses programming on research-based approaches to social-emotional growth and development in children. Our programs work closely with area school districts to support children’s achievement.
The Y is committed to furthering the values of child growth and development, therefore we will:
- Ensure the safety and health of all participants and provide a responsive and caring environment.
- Ensure that our programs reflect the latest knowledge of child development.
- Help children learn to exist cooperatively to promote self-esteem and respect for individual differences.
- Support and respect families in nurturing and guiding children.
- Maintain high standards of personal conduct.
- Serve as role models for children and families in personal health and wellness.
