At the Y, we care just as much about the future of our community’s children as you do. That’s why we work hard to provide our students with the best chance of success. We help to increase student achievement and reduce risk-taking behaviors through academic support, as well as health and social enrichment programming.
AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES
3D Printing & Coding Class
Are you ready to dive head-first into the third dimension?
Come explore the foundations of 3D modeling! Participants will learn concepts used by professionals in a wide variety of industries, such as manufacturing, architecture, game design, and more!
Who: 3rd - 5th graders
Cost: $160 facility member | $170 program member
Fine Arts Class
Pull up your sleeves and get your hands dirty with classes in painting, drawing, cartooning, clay molding, 3D projects, and more! Participants will stir their imagination as they explore their creativity using different textures, colors, and shapes to make their own masterpieces.
Who: K-2nd and 3rd-5th graders
Cost: $145 facility member | $160 program member
Dance Class
Get moving this season! Participants with stay active by learning choreography to different styles of dance.
Who: K-5th Graders
Cost: $80 facility member | $100 program member
Theater Class
Lights, cameras, ACTION! Participants will focus on building acting skills such as creating characters, working together in acting scenes, improvisation, and stage direction.
Who: K-5th Graders

Comic Book Club
Is your child a budding writer and illustrator? Have your child create their own comic book! Get creative and learn the different styles of comics from around the world. Participants will stir their imagination as they explore their creativity to illustrate their own graphic novel!
Who: 3rd - 5th Graders
Cost: $145 facility members | $160 program members
FINANCIAL AID
We strive to keep the Y accessible to everyone. With the support and generosity of our donors through our annual campaign, we assist everyone who qualifies.

Y CARE FAMILIES
We will continue to offer our state-licensed child care program, so if you’re currently a Y Care family, this is not replacing that program. For families currently attending Y Care, you can also register for classes at a discounted rate. We will need to verify attendance first and will apply a discount once registration is complete. Kids may attend Y Care once their class is completed each day.
VOLUNTEER
Are you interested in volunteering with one of the after-school classes? If so, we’d love to speak with you! No experience with kids or the subject matter needed – just bring a smile and a commitment to helping kids grow and learn. Reach out to rochas@ssymca.net to learn more!
