Lindy Hop & Swing Dance Classes with South Sound Stomp

Lindy Hop is an energetic, fun partnered dance that originated in the streets of Harlem in the late 1920s and has regained momentum in recent decades– resulting in flourishing communities of dancers across the globe.

South Sound Stomp teachers Amee Bahr and Zoe Johnson will be covering basic footwork and technique in this progressive class series. By the end of the series, six and eight count patterns along with swing-out basics will be in your dance vocabulary.

Register through the YMCA for the whole series. Each class will build off the previous week’s content; no drop-in attendance allowed. No partner necessary. Students rotate partners in class, but individual comfort level is honored.
