Swim Lessons – Private

Aquatics

If you prefer to work one-on-one with an instructor or are looking to focus on a specific aspect of swimming, private lessons are an option. One session consists of four 30-minute lessons; these 4-week session dates will run in conjunction with the group swim lesson dates.

  • Swim lessons registration window opens 2 weeks prior to the first day of each session.
  • Priority registration for Family Memberships! First week of registration window.
  • Semi-private lessons are also available for 2 students to work with the same instructor. This is a great option for siblings!

Healthy Innovations

Health & Wellbeing

Older adults and those with chronic health conditions often feel they must accept impaired balance and limited mobility. This is not true. You can build strength, improve balance, and gain confidence in your mobility through Tai Ji Quan – Moving for Better Balance. This is a 24-week evidence-based, instructor-led small group program designed to help you improve your strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility through slow, therapeutic movements based on Tai Chi. The program takes place in a safe and supportive group setting.

Youth Programs

Youth

At the Y, we provide more than a place to go before and after school. We provide nurturing development, healthy lifestyle choices, self-reliance through positive relationships, and value-based learning.

Youth Sports

Youth

The Y is a worldwide leader in youth sports (did you know the Y invented volleyball, basketball and football?) and here in the South Sound, it’s no different. Year-round, you’ll find us building team players, improving athletic skills and helping our athletes build long-lasting friendships. All skill-levels are welcome.

Child Care

Y before-and after-school programs serve children from age 5-12 in an enriching child-focused, child-directed environment that promotes the exploration of their interests and talents. The Y focuses programming on research-based approaches to social-emotional growth and development in children. Our programs work closely with area school districts to support children’s achievement.

Swim Lessons – Adult

Aquatics

We specialize in progressive, developmentally appropriate water safety and instruction. The Y offers swim classes for infants, toddlers, school-age youths, teens, and adults in classes that are suited to their skill level. At the Y, we believe kids of all ages should have the opportunity to learn how to swim.
