YMCA Thanksgiving Food Drive

Help a family in need by providing a Thanksgiving meal! We will deliver donations to our local food pantry before Thanksgiving Day.
All South Sound YMCAs are hosting a Thanksgiving food drive between November 15th-24th. Donations at the Shelton Family YMCA will be distributed to Saints Pantry and the Shelton High Schools’ Family Support Center. Donations at our Thurston facilities will be distributed to SafePlace and Olympia Kitchen Collective.
Shop: Using the recommended food suggestion list, visit your local grocery store to shop for items.
Encourage: Involve the kids! This is a great way to encourage a lifelong spirit of giving and social responsibility.
Deliver: Bring food donations to your local Y.

Recommended Food Items
(*Non-perishable food items only)
1-3 cans of:
- carrots
- corn
- green beans
- peas
- fruit
- cranberry sauce
- meats (tuna, chicken, ham)
1-2 boxes of:
- stuffing
- bread mix
- instant potatoes
Other items:
- applesauce
- gravy mix
- cake/dessert mix
- lemonade, Kool-Aid
- coffee, tea
