New Facility Updates – Effective Monday, March 29

Dear member:
As we enter Spring, we are optimistic about the state of the pandemic and the collective efforts we are all taking to combat it. Our goal throughout this crisis is to keep you and your family safe while providing essential health & fitness programs – both emotional and physical.
As you may be aware, on March 22, Governor Inslee moved both Thurston and Mason Counties into Phase 3 of the Healthy Washington Roadmap to Recovery plan. The most notable component of this phase is that capacity increases and some restrictions are eliminated at our branches. However, properly worn masks and physical distancing are still required at all times.
There are also a few other changes below that are being made to programs, facilities, and amenities you should know about.
Download our mobile app and visit our website for information. As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions, comments, or concerns. Thanks for sticking with us!!

With the State’s new Phase 3 guidelines our Kids Zone! will morph into monthly activity-based programs. Beginning Monday, March 29, a wide variety of safe and fun programs for ages 2-12 at our most popular times will begin in lieu of traditional Kids Zone!
There is no cost for family members, but registration is required and can be done in-person or online. Registration is open now for programs starting on Monday! More information can be found on our website.

Get your towels ready! Beginning Monday, March 29, showers will be available at all branches. We are not back to full capacity, so please be aware that shower capacity will be limited. Please limit your showers to 5 minutes and follow the designated traffic paths identified at your Y Branch. Lockers will be limited, so plan on keeping your belongings with you.

The Briggs and Shelton branches are offering a safe basketball skills clinics for kids 2nd through 8th grade starting in April! Register today – visit our website for more information and to secure your spot!

Over the next few months, traffic patterns, exits, class locations, and equipment will be moving. We will do our best to communicate changes. However, thank you in advance for being patient with us!
