Financial Support

DONATE

At the Y, we believe that all children should have a safe, nurturing place to learn and thrive. For more than one-quarter of families in our area, however, providing this environment during the summer months is not financially possible. This is why we don’t turn anyone away because of inability to pay and offer financial assistance to 1 in 4 children in our seasonal camp programs.

As you think about what camps and activities your child will enjoy this season, please consider a donation to ensure that another child has the same opportunities. Together, we can ensure that all children thrive.

MILITARY FAMILIES

The South Sound YMCA partners with Child Care Aware of America to provide an Army fee-assistance program to families. For more information, please visit their website at childcareaware.org.

PROGRAM VS FACILITY MEMBERSHIP

Consider adding a family facility membership! In addition to facility access, members receive discounts on child care, swim lessons, youth sports, and more! Learn more here!

FINANCIAL AID

We strive to keep the Y accessible to everyone. With the support and generosity of our donors through our annual campaign, we assist everyone who qualifies.

Please fill out the electronic Financial Aid Request form and submit via email.

USING DCYF SUBSIDY

Thanks to recent changes, the state of Washington expanded the number of families who qualify for the DCYF child care subsidy program. More families than ever can qualify for up to 100% of their child care costs to be covered.

The Department of Children, Youth and Families makes final determinations on qualifications and co-pays. Click the button below to see if you qualify. Note that co-pays listed on the chart represent total family contributions per month.
