COVID-19 UPDATES – South Sound YMCA

Dear Y Members,

On January 5, Governor Jay Inslee announced his Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery. This plan lays out a new, phased approach to reopening our economy while continuing to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Based on these new guidelines, both the Briggs and Plum Street YMCA facilities will reopen on Monday, January 11 under new capacity and operational guidelines.

Throughout the course of the pandemic YMCA staff have enhanced cleaning procedures, improved air filtration, and developed new systems that ensure adequate space and our ability to meet state and local safety requirements.

We are proud of this work, and look forward to continuing to promote public health in our community while offering opportunities for you – our members – to increase your physical and mental wellbeing.

Please review the information below and check back often for the most up-to-date information regarding operations. Thank you for staying with us!

We can’t wait to welcome you back…again!
